Energizing Spaces: Vistra's Corporate Campus Transformation

Corporate Branding, Environmental Design, Installation Art, Graphic Design

Vistra, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is the largest competitive power generator in the U.S. In bringing all its businesses under one corporate roof, strategic enhancements were essential to reflect the company’s inclusive values.

Inclusivity and representation are key at Vistra. From executives to power plant workers and call center staff, every individual needed to have a presence at the corporate HQ. Our approach focused on enhancing spaces without altering them, with a specific emphasis on three areas: stairwell murals, employee wall murals, and corporate sponsorship installations.

Stairwell Murals: Reflecting Energy

We commissioned local Dallas mural artist, Kyle Steed, to illustrate three murals representing Solar, Wind, and Fossil/Nuclear energy.

These large-format (approximately 44ft x 25ft) vinyl murals were inspired by the dynamic energy of Vistra, Luminant, and TXU Energy employees.

Onto the Earth represents the ever-present nature of the Sun and Solar Energy.

From the Earth personifies the kinetic properties of Fossil Fuels and Nuclear Energy.

Through flowing lines and abstract interpretations, Over the Earth represents the dynamism of Wind.

Employee Murals: Embracing Inclusivity

Wall murals are an excellent way to make an office more inviting, and showcasing employees takes this to the next level. We installed thirteen vinyl murals in highly visible areas around the corporate office, each celebrating the diverse workforce at Vistra.
